I am Olena Chepurna, a Ukrainian screenwriter, novelist, and linguist with over 17 years of professional experience working with language, storytelling, and narrative structure. I write original feature-length screenplays in drama, fantasy, science fiction, and thriller.
My background in translation and teaching shaped a strong sense of structure, clarity, and rhythm in dialogue. I am a native Ukrainian speaker and fluent in English. My background as a teacher and linguist has made me highly systematic — I break down stories into clear structures, character arcs, and emotional beats, almost like designing an algorithm. At the same time, I bring poetry, rhythm, and life experience into my writing. This balance of logic and emotion allows me to create screenplays that are both structurally solid and deeply moving.
